CSIA Renewals are Completed Online

Renewing your CSIA membership is quick and easy. Start by reviewing and/or updating your organization’s details in the CSIA Portal — this ensures your information is accurate and up to date for CSIA but also your CSIA Industrial Automation Exchange listing.

Then select any additional business tools — such as benchmarking or Exchange upgrades or packages — to add them to your “cart.”

That’s it! From there. the system generates a PDF invoice — which you can pay on the spot or send to the appropriate department to get processed. It’s really that easy!

 

 

Tips to Keep the Renewal Process Quick and Easy

Renewing only takes a few minutes. To be fully prepared, here are some helpful items to check ahead of time.

Anyone can set up an account in the CSIA Portal to take advantage of membership benefits, but managing company information, contacts, and billing permissions are restricted to designated contact roles (primary, billing, and marketing contacts). These individuals are the ones who receive renewal notices and are eligible to complete the process in the portal.

If you are not sure who is currently designated for ‎these roles in your organization or need to make updates, CSIA staff is happy to help.

The first portion of the renewal process is reviewing the company information on file. Please take a moment to review all of the fields and make updates where necessary, especially if you are aware of any major changes from the past year (ex: a new mailing address).


If you have had more extensive changes, such as a merger or acquisition, contact staff to confirm those details before proceeding through the renewal process.

Renewals are the best and easiest time to upgrade your Exchange profile or enroll in benchmarking tools.

If your company participated in either of these offerings this past year, they will show up pre-selected among the available offerings.

The final step of the renewal process is confirming payment method. Those looking to complete the renewal process all at once can pay with a credit card at this time, which instantly renews your membership and a receipt will be sent to you.

If you select “Bill [Company Name]”, after submitting the renewal form a copy of the invoice will be sent to you, which you can save as a PDF. The invoice includes ACH/wire information as well as a link to pay by credit card if you wish to do so at a later date. While not CSIA’s preferred method, checks are accepted. Please send to the billing address (noted below) and email info@staff.controlsys.org to confirm date of mailing, so staff can take note payment is en route.

*Partners: Include corporate revenues. If the membership is for a division of a corporation, then only include division revenue.

** Companies with less than $2 million in revenue and whose main office is located in one of the countries listed on the membership application as low-income, lower-middle income or upper-middle income qualify for the reduced rate.
