Here's How to Join the Association for the System Integration Industry

It’s easy to get started with CSIA. Just click the button to fill out your application in the CSIA Membership Portal, and you’ll be on your way! (Note: You will need an account.)

Handy Hints to Help You Navigate the CSIA Membership Application

Completing the CSIA membership application will only take a few minutes. But you will find you have several questions and options to consider along the way. So, here’s some tips to help you prepare for the process.

If you have not yet set up your account, it’s a simple process with step by step instructions included under the FAQs.

Account Setup

CSIA’s membership dues are tiered based on company  revenues. That’s because members of CSIA are companies – not individuals — which means any employee of the member company can access membership benefits. A bigger company means more people using benefits, which  means more value. (If you are applying on behalf of a division of a bigger company, you may qualify to use the division revenue on the application.) The revenue information you provide on the application will be kept completely private

The application will ask you for your organization type, most companies should select either “integrator” or “partner.”

 Choose integrator if you:

  • Are engaged in control system integration primarily for design and commissioning.
  • Provide integration services primarily with your personnel.
  • Agree to comply with CSIA bylaws, rules and regulations.

Choose partner if you are a:

  • For-profit business entity that primarily manufactures and/or markets industrial automation products, control hardware or control software to multiple independent system integrators.
  • Business that provides products or services to system integrators.

If you are an SI, consider adding benchmarking tools to your cart. At some point in the application process, you will have the option to add two benchmarking resources to your order:

a.  Talent Retention Toolbox (a comprehensive salary survey)

b.  CSIA Pulse (business KPIs)

Both require an additional cost – and you will need to enter data to participate — but the ROI will be well worth it.

Note: CSIA also offers the following survey instruments at no additional charge.

a. JP Morgan/CSIA System Integrator Survey (published twice per year)

b. EZ Stats (a monthly snapshot of the CSIA member businesses)

The Exchange is a B2B marketplace where SIs, end users and suppliers connect and do business. It draws nearly 200K page views per year – which means you will want to make sure your company profile looks its best.

The good news is that when you join CSIA, your company will get an automatic upgrade on the Exchange to the Bronze level.

But most CSIA members want even more visibility and capabilities, so they go further by upgrading to Gold level or buying a package (which includes the Gold profile plus more).

Gold profiles pop to the top in searches and offer unlimited tagging — including industries, specialties, products, certifications – so end users can easily find your company when they do a filtered search.

Bottom line: Add a Gold profile or Featured Package to your cart!
