Gain the convenience of LDAP, the added protection of TOTP and one-way data enforcement with data diode mode.

The latest release of Cogent DataHub software affirms Skkynet’s commitment to security with a new security model that features LDAP and TOTP support, and a new data diode mode.  Other v11 enhancements include additional External Historian connections, updates to the WebView HMI and MQTT Sparkplug improvements.

Improved Security

An entirely new security model lets DataHub users configure security accounts from a local Windows machine or external LDAP server, as well as authenticate with TOTP (time-based one-time passwords).

It is now also possible to differentiate user access permissions by connection source, to create custom roles and permission sets, and to provide more robust permission granularity for authorizing users.

Data Diode Mode

Data diode mode available in version 11 configures DataHub tunnel/mirror connections to immediately discard all incoming data with zero processing. This mode also allows connections through any hardware data diode that supports TCP emulation.

More Historian Connections

In version 11, the DataHub External Historian feature connects to Apache Kafka, Azure Event Hubs, OPC Classic HDA and ODBC, enabling connections to virtually any SQL database.

WebView Enhancements

The DataHub WebView HMI has a number of exciting new features and capabilities, including the ability to quickly switch between pages in Editing and Run Modes, display multiple pages on a single page for creating dashboard displays and slide shows, and a new script editor that provides a more intuitive coding environment.

Other improvements include upgrades to MQTT Sparkplug, the OPC DA server interface and the Cogent DataHub service for Azure.
