Just as I did last year, I’m writing this message a few weeks before the U.S. Thanksgiving break.

Thankful

I’m thankful for the following:

  • The 2024 conference in Dallas was a total success. With 536 attendees, this was the highest attendance post pandemic and second highest ever.
  • Before the start of the conference, we delivered three workshops that allowed attendees to go deeper into key topics. We delivered the traditional 2-day Best Practices Workshop, a 1-day value creation workshop for the second time, and a brand new, well attended 1-day marketing workshop.
  • CSIA launched its new website. This allows us to project a more updated image for our association. I thank Lisa Richter for leading this project to success and the great support from our team and external provider.
  • Thanks to the efforts by Eric Schaefer and the support of our association management firm (Kellen). CSIA is preparing for the launch of our new Professional Development offer at the 2025 CSIA Conference. I thank the CSIA members that volunteered to be part of the pilot program. Their contribution has been key for the delivery of a SI relevant offering.

Looking Into 2025

We have been ramping up our efforts for the 2025 CSIA Conference in San Diego. It has been a CSIA tradition to hold our main annual event at desirable destinations in the Spring or early Summer. Fall has been in full swing, and I’m already looking forward to our conference.

We plan to launch our conference website in January. We will have an exciting lineup of speakers and panelists. We look forward to seeing you in San Diego, CA (June 2-6, 2025).

I wish you and your loved ones Happy Holidays and the best for 2025. We all have many things to be thankful for.
