CSIA’s Annual Conferences are the location for professionals involved in system integration to learn, network, inspire, and share. Planning for the 2026 CSIA Conference is under way, and CSIA wants to hear from system integrators who want to share their knowledge with their peers!
For several years, CSIA’s “Lessons from Touching the Hot Stove” has been a popular session, allowing system integrators to share hard won lessons in running a business, and this session will be back to cap the event.
The New R&D
In addition, new to 2026, CSIA will have a panel titled “The New R&D* (*Ripoff and Duplicate)” that will focus on the successes certified members have had by using the tools and connections they have made through their CSIA membership.
Share Your Story
CSIA is looking for system integrators who are interested in joining these panels!
- For the “Hot Stove,” do you have a story to share about a setback or challenge you experienced that other SIs can learn from?
- For the “New R&D,” are you a certified member who can talk about how you used CSIA’s membership, certification, and resources to navigate change positively?
Share Your Knowledge
In addition, CSIA is looking for system integrators who are interested in presenting on the following topics during the educational sessions:
- As a system integrator, how do you differentiate yourself in the market and determine the right value proposition for your firm?
- How has AI changed the way your business is run, including how you hire?
- How do you measure customer experience?
- How do you manage your technology stack and determine the best tools for your needs? What are your best practices for knowledge management?
- How do you drive the intrinsic value of your company to ensure you’re running the best business possible?
Ideally, these sessions will feature voices that represent the range of companies that are members of CSIA, so even if you’ve never participated in a CSIA session before, you are so welcome to participate.
Next Steps
Interested in participating? Reach out by January 15 to submissions@controlsys.org, so sessions can be finalized early in the new year.
- For prospective panelists, CSIA staff will gather expressions of interest and background information in order to organize panels with a diverse range of integrator experiences. Panelists who are selected will meet once before the conference for a practice session.
- For prospective presenters, CSIA staff will review expressions of interest with the CSIA Conference Planning Committee in order to select sessions that will have the most impact on system integrators. Presenters who are selected will need to provide a draft presentation by March 31, 2026 and will have a practice session in April 2026.
In both cases, your main contact will be Adrienne Meyer, and she can be contacted with any questions.
